Truly, most of the Bible deals with the promises made to Abraham and, especially, the promise of the coming Messiah. The Jewish nation moved into Egypt and things changed to the point that they became servants to Egypt. This is how we come to Moses. Moses was selected by God to lead His people but Moses didn’t exactly come along quietly. He offered up excuses as to how he wasn’t the man God was looking for. How many times have we said exactly the same thing?
