Stephen, inspired by and full of God’s grace, was beset by false witnesses as he performed miracles and taught the people Christ and His message. Ultimately, Stephen was executed after speaking to the leaders of the Jewish people and giving a sermon of the history of their people and the events that led to the coming of Christ, the persecution and execution of Him, and the resurrection and the hope we have in Him. Now, as it was then, the Gospel message is always the same, the difference lies in how people respond to it.
